VOW Pro Celebrates Giving Tuesday
Celebrate Giving Tuesday with Vow Pro
If you’re a wedding and event professional and you or your business are looking to support a charity that is making a difference in the world, we invite you to consider VOW for Girls this Giving Tuesday. VOW is a wedding industry-supported nonprofit that is dedicated to ending child marriage around the globe.
Since 2012, Giving Tuesday has been celebrated in the United States on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving as a moment to give thanks and support nonprofits and charitable efforts. Giving Tuesday is upon us once again, but it can be hard to find a cause that aligns with your wedding and event business and feels like the right fit. If you’re a wedding professional, look no further than VOW for Girls. A donation to VOW is the perfect way to get your wedding and event business involved this Giving Tuesday while sticking to your company’s goals.
Engagement Season Is Coming
Your Giving Tuesday donation to VOW will grant you VOW Pro+ membership and unlock our 2022 VOW Pro+ badge, just in time for wedding engagement season. (Just in case you need a refresher on wedding lingo, “engagement season” is that magical time of year between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day when most couples become engaged to be married and start planning their wedding.)
Did you know 72% of couples reported they were more likely to hire a wedding vendor if a portion of profits went to support a cause they believed in?
Set yourself up for success with VOW as your business’ charity of choice.
Every dollar donated to VOW helps girls choose love on their own terms, and your VOW Pro+ badge will easily express to future clients that your business invests in the futures of girls around the world.
What is VOW Pro?
VOW Pro is a collection of wedding professionals who publicly support VOW’s work to end the global child marriage crisis by spreading awareness of our efforts. Those who also donate to VOW are enrolled in our VOW Pro+ membership and receive a VOW Pro+ badge. This badge of recognition can be displayed on your business website and social media accounts to clearly show engaged couples and wedding industry peers that you support the empowerment of girls.
What Kind of Wedding Professionals Are Involved?
We’re proud to have amazing wedding and event vendors from across all corners of the wedding industry and world as part of our VOW Pro and VOW Pro+ communities. From wedding photographers, major media outlets, planners, designers, caterers, florists, and wedding dress designers, VOW is thankful to be the charity of choice for many in the wedding industry. Check out just a few of our featured VOW Pro+ members:
Based in Colorado, luxury wedding planner Emily Campbell of Go Bella Designs donates a set amount to VOW per wedding produced. She also advocates for VOW during her global speaking engagements at Engage! Summits in her role as the Executive Director of the Engage! Foundation.
Our New York-based wedding photographer friends at Readyluck make yearly donations in the names of their fellow vendors in lieu of annual business gifts.
VOWs of Style
Tiffany L and Tiffany R of VOWs of Style, an international agency specializing in the digital publication of bridal art, beauty, and fashion are monthly donors choosing to donate an equivalency amount every month and prominently display their VOW Pro badge on their website.
The Bridal Collection
Colorado-based bridal salon The Bridal Collection raised $5K for VOW for Girls from a Justin Alexander trunk show event in honor of International Day of the Girl in October. $5K can pay for the enrollment fees for 106 girls to attend school for one year!
