VOW Now Accepts Cryptocurrency
Big news – VOW for Girls is now able to accept donations of cryptocurrency! Donations to VOW can be made easily on our new “Donate Crypto” page. These donations are securely processed through The Giving Block – the most widely-used cryptocurrency donation platform – and we are able to accept a variety of cryptocurrencies to support VOW’s work to end child marriage.
When making a donation of cryptocurrency, you may choose to donate anonymously, however a tax-receipt will only be sent if you enter an email address. The Giving Block automatically converts your donation to U.S. dollars and makes the funds immediately available to VOW. 100% of your donations to VOW are invested in effective but underfunded local efforts around the world that advance girls’ rights by providing education, job training, access to health services, and other vital life skills so that every girl can own her future.
At market value on the date of this posting, 1 ETH could cover the school fees for 61 girls for one year and 1 Bitcoin could provide transportation for 2,850 women to attend job training classes for 3 months.
Are you an NFT creator interested in supporting VOW? We’d love to collaborate with you! Please contact us about NFTs or with any questions about donating cryptocurrencies.
All donations are final and non-refundable. No goods, services or airdrops will be offered in exchange for cryptocurrency donations. Read more about The Giving Block’s donation refund policy.
About VOW for Girls
From wedding registry donations to partner product purchases, everything donated to VOW (that’s 100% of donations!) goes directly to community-driven efforts to help girls around the world. Our grantees, which are mainly women-led local organizations, use the funding we provide to directly support girls.
Twelve million girls a year, some as young as 8, become child brides. VOW is a global movement of the wedding industry community, partners and couples who are dedicated to a world where no child is ever a bride and where every girl has the chance to live the life she loves.
If you’re in the wedding industry and you’re interested in becoming involved, please find more wedding inspiration and advice in our blog, consider becoming a VOW Pro partner and learning more about VOW’s mission to end child marriage.
